Anne Phung Nguyen
Anne Phung Nguyen. Hello! My name is Anne Phung Nguyen. A Vietnamese American entrepreneur who lives with her wonderful fianc JP and her family in Orange County California. Henry is a happy and go-lucky dad. People often recognize me on Instagram which is where I share my adventures ranging from upwards to the downwards. I moved to America with my parents and brother in the year 1990. At one and a half years young. I'm not living my life and sharing it to you, if not for my parents love dedication and hard work. To give them an opportunity to live a prospering future, I aimed on my goals and worked hard to get there. There was a specific plan for me in my life that was to go to university and get a corporate job, marry, purchase a house and have kids. This was my vision of what success would look like. However, life was not so keen on my plans. In 2013 I found myself dreading going to my corporate job. The money and the status didn't bring me happiness- I felt as if I had wasted my time and energy to earn a living even though I knew I had a destiny. I had a passion for exercising and enjoyed being social and helping others as I navigated towards the new direction in my life. I found my calling in personal training. In 2014 I started my own business, and in the 2021 will see me celebrating my 7th year anniversary. Very few Asian women work in the fashion industry. As an instructor, my aim is to encourage people to live a healthy and enjoyable life by establishing healthy and sustainable living styles that meet the individual's goals and needs. Also, I want people to feel empowered to pursue their goals and achieve anything they desire throughout their lives. My career took off as I experienced the greatest success in my entire life. But, my mom died just as my professional life began to fall off. Her battle for 8 years with Scleroderma is over and she rests in Heaven. Her memory will forever be in my heart and mind. If you don't realize it at first, life is a way of offering us the things we need. The death of my mother affected me greatly and I think she was the one who gave me a second chance in life. Her death occurred in the morning of Tet/Lunar New Year Day. It was the day she decided to start her new journey. I had my second chance to live a happy and fulfilled life. At the age of 30 I am awestruck by the feeling of being alive and in the moment. It's not that I'm just another number. In sharing my story, I hope that my thoughts will resonate with those of yours. It is my wish that my words can help you realize that you're never alone. You have the ability to achieve anything that your heart desires. There is only one chance to live. I hope you be the best version of yourself.
