Abbie Cornish was born on 7 August 1982, in Australia she is a performer. Cornish is most well-known for her films roles, including Heidi in Somersault (2004) Fanny Brawne in Bright Star (2009) Sweet Pea in Sucker Punch (2011) Lindy in Limitless (2011) Clara Murphy in RoboCop (2014) as Sarah in Geostorm (2017) as well as for the film she co-directed with director Martin McDonagh in Seven Psychopaths (2012) and The Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri (2017). The latter movie Cornish won her debut Screen Actors Guild Award as part of the ensemble. Betty Gilpin.........................American actress Betty Gilpin was fortunate to have both of her parents be professional actors. Jack Gilpin, star of Adventureland 2009 and many other films was her father. Ann McDonough was her mother. Betty Gilpin's parents were supportive and encouraged her to pursue a career as an actor. Fordham College was her first choice when it was time for her to start college. She was there to learn how to improve her skills. Gilpin was still auditioning for television and film roles as well as performing in Off Broadway shows. Gilpin was able to land a guest appearance in the show on NBC called Law & Order: Criminal Intent (2001-2011) which was followed it up with smaller roles for the films Ghost Town (2008) and The Northern Kingdom (2009). Gilpin continued to nab mostly TV guest roles over the next few years until she landed her first break in 2013, with a recurring role in the show Nurse Jackie. as the character Dr. Carrie Roman Gilpin appeared in 34 episodes of the series before Nurse Jackie was cancelled in June of 2015. Gilpin played a role in the mystery thriller True Story (2015).
