April Lockhart born 4 July 1995. She started piano and guitar lessons in the 7th grade, which ignited curiosity. April's first song was Different. She wrote it when she was 12 years old. The singer spent much of her time when she was 14 composing songs and experimenting with music. After that, she started taking excursions to write with her father, who lived in NY and LA. Lockhart is a lifestyle and beauty influencer with a growing fan base. She works with popular brand Ilia together, and is also an expert in the field of lifestyle. Her disability is a part of her persona, however it is not the whole picture. Lockhart's profile on Twitter doesn't shy away from her being disabled however, it doesn't concentrate on the fact that she is disabled. It's a message. that we are all a part of a multitude of identities and we're beyond our physical bodies. Lockhart said via video that she doesn't wish to be defined solely by her handicap. She doesn't want to become an advocate for disabled people who only talks about that. There are a lot of aspects to Lockhart. However, it doesn't affect my everyday routine. I do the normal things and have adapted to my disabilities. The same is true for my personality, and it should be discussed. Lockhart's self-acceptance journey is one that will last for a long time, and she has been a source of inspiration with regard to this. She admits that she has gone through phases of being uncomfortable with her physique and being uncomfortable wearing some clothing types which showed her arms. It's her choice to wear what she'd like, and proudly shares photos of her in these outfits. The key to self-love for her is that it's not a goal. It's a long journey. I'm not sure you'll ever arrive. I believe that it's really important to surround yourself with people who are able to see and know your true heart.
