Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd first began training in combat sports as young as fourteen years old. She studied boxing, kickboxing and wrestling prior to making her debut appearance as an amateur at WCFC with Jaimee Nievera. Ladd had an amazing 3 fight winning streak at Ultimate Reno Combat. In the three fights, she defeated her opponent in the very first round. In WCFC, Ladd defeated Leslie Rodriguez with a unanimous decision. Aspen beat Silvia Babaeghian as well as Maddy Simmons before fighting Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9. Cynthia was defeated by Aspen by unanimous decision. It left a blemish on the record of Ladd's amateur. Ladd recovered from this loss to beat Roma Pawelek, taking her record to eight one. Aspen signed her contract with Invicta FC in 2015 to begin her career in professional boxing. Invicta Aspen fought Ana Carolina Vidal in Invicta 2011, and was victorious by the first round TKO. Invicta Fc16 was Aspen's debut fight as a Bantamweight. Aspen defeated Amanda Cooper with an armbar during the second round. Aspen's dazzling wrestling ability was able to take down McGill as she was able to stop her in the third round with a TKO (elbows and punches). Aspen was then able to fight Jessica Hoy for Invicta FC18 at a catchweight of 138.1lb. Ladd was not able make the weight, however, Aspen took the victory and defeated Hoy via TKO. In her last fight for this promotion, Ladd fought Sijara Eubanks by unanimous decision at Invicta FC 21. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut in UFC Fight Night 118 against Lina Lansberg. She dominated Lina by pound-for-pound, and took the TKO round at the end of the second. She maintained her dominance and picked up another big win over Tonya Avinger in UFC 229 with her next bout. Ladd defeated Evinger within the first few seconds and received a bonus for her performance during the night. Sijara Eubanks from Invicta FC was her opponent in a rematch at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against Lee. This was her debut major fight. The two fighters had an intense fight which Ladd was victorious by a majority decision. Both fighters received an award called the Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie ended Ladd after 16 seconds which ended her winning streak. Yana Knitskaya was defeated in the third at UFC 7 at ESPN. In her most recent fight with the UFC she fought Norma Dumont at UFC Fight Night 195 as a replacement fight. She was defeated by a unanimous decision.
